About Me

I love learning everything I can about training and sports, about the history and future of tollers, about health and genetics of the breed, about reproductive health and breeding practices, and best practices in puppy rearing, enrichment, and socialization.

I adore raising puppies, I love watching them explore their environment and learn and grow. Raising a litter is one of my life’s greatest joys. It is truly a passion.

I love playing with my dogs. I am in my happy place when we are training and learning together. I love being in nature, hiking and paddleboarding and canoeing, with my dogs at my feet.

My career is not my dogs, they do not pay my bills and the litters I am able to breed at this point of my life are limited to my availability to offer my best to the litter. I work in the mining industry and get to travel to different countries throughout the Americas.

I have taught and assisted hundreds of dog training classes and overseen the training of thousands of dogs of many breeds and temperaments over the past 15 years. I have lived with or fostered several different breeds in my home. This experience has offered me a unique perspective on temperament, drive, and character. I use my experience to shape my decisions on breeding pairings and in how to best raise my puppies. I offer my support for the entirety of our pups’ lives.

I have explored many sports and love learning with my dogs. I have been nationally ranked in competitive obedience and rally in the CKC, on the podium at nationals at the Canadian Ringsport Association, and have podiumed at AAC ontario east agility regionals, qualifying for AAC nationals.
