This is an area of toller training in which I am very green and depend on the guidance of my mentor. It is something I hope to continue learning in order to ensure the traits that make a good retriever are carried on in my breeding program, since these traits absolutely overlap with the characteristics I appreciate most in my sport dogs and pets.

I acknowledge that without regularly testing my dogs, I cannot make assumptions on their potential as a hunting dog, but I will continue to prioritize hunting and retrieving ability in my stud selection and demonstrate a desire to retrieve, confidence in water, and trainability of my girls to the best of my ability.
